By Car
From Almaty, take the A351 highway towards the town of Kapchagay. Continue on this highway until you reach the junction with the A352 highway. Turn left onto the A352 and drive towards the town of Balkhash. After passing Balkhash, continue on the highway until you reach the turnoff for Tamgaly-Tas. Follow the signs to reach the rock carvings site.
