Car
From Big Almaty Lake, head back towards the main road leading to Almaty City. Drive along the Almaty-Kaskelen Road (A351) for about 18 km until you reach the intersection with Al-Farabi Avenue. Turn right onto Al-Farabi Avenue and continue for approximately 5 km. Turn left onto Kabanbay Batyr Street and follow the signs to Mukagali Makataev Park, located at the coordinates 43.262944, 76.937756. There is usually free parking available at the park entrance.

From Big Almaty Lake, catch a taxi or rideshare to reach the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 12 or 28 towards Almaty city center. After about 45 minutes, disembark at the stop for Al-Farabi Avenue. From there, you can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) or catch a taxi to the park, which is located at 7W7Q+54C, Almaty 050000. Expect to pay around 200-300 KZT for the bus fare and approximately 1000 KZT for the taxi from the bus stop to the park.
