Car
If you are traveling by car from Kolsai Lakes National Park to Charynskiy Kan'on, head southwest on the main road (A-2) towards the town of Saty. After about 30 kilometers, you will reach the turnoff for the Charyn Canyon. Follow the signs for Charyn Canyon (Doroga Na Charynskiy Kan'on) which will lead you to a gravel road. Continue driving for about 15 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Charyn Canyon. There is a parking area available, and the entrance fee is approximately 500 KZT per person.

Public Transportation
To reach Charynskiy Kan'on using public transportation, you can take a minibus (marshrutka) from Saty, which is the nearest major settlement to Kolsai Lakes. First, you’ll need to get to Saty by taking a taxi or a local bus from Kolsai Lakes National Park. Once in Saty, look for marshrutka heading towards Charyn Canyon. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes and cost around 300 KZT. Upon arrival at Charyn Canyon, you may need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach the viewpoint, so be prepared for a short hike.
