Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the Kolsai Lakes visitor center. Drive towards the main road leading out of the park and head towards Almaty. Follow the road for approximately 90 kilometers (about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic) until you reach the Medeu District. Look for Gornaya Street and turn left. Continue on Gornaya Street for about 5 kilometers until you reach Medeu, which is located at Gornaya St 465, Almaty 050020. Parking is available nearby.

Public Transportation
To reach Medeu via public transportation, first take a bus or taxi from the Kolsai Lakes area to the nearest major town, which is Saty. From Saty, you can catch a bus to Almaty. Once in Almaty, take a taxi or local bus to the Medeu District. The bus ride from Saty to Almaty takes about 2-3 hours, and from Almaty to Medeu, it should take another 30 minutes. Expect to pay around 1000-1500 KZT for the bus from Saty to Almaty, and around 500-1000 KZT for the taxi or bus to Medeu.
