Getting There

    If you are driving from Almaty, take the Al-Farabi Avenue heading east. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Almaty Ring Road (A2). Merge onto the A2 and follow the signs for the Medeu area. After approximately 20 km, take the exit for Medeu/Zhailau. Follow the road signs towards the Ile-Alatau National Park. Expect to pay a parking fee of approximately 500 KZT at the entrance of the park.
