Car
If you are traveling by car from Kolsai Lakes, head south towards the main road (A353). Follow the A353 for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for the Turgen Gorge (Turgen'skoe Ushchel'ye). Turn left onto the road leading into the gorge. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers, keeping an eye out for signage indicating the direction to Medvezhiy Vodopad. You will need to park in the designated parking area at the entrance of the gorge. From there, the waterfall is a short hike away; simply follow the marked trails.

Public Transportation
To reach Medvezhiy Vodopad using public transportation, you can take a minibus from Kolsai Lakes to the town of Turgen. Look for minibuses with signs indicating Turgen at the local bus stop. The ride will take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once in Turgen, you will need to hire a taxi or take a local bus towards the Turgen Gorge. The taxi ride will cost approximately 3000 KZT. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand. After reaching the gorge, you will need to hike approximately 3 kilometers to reach Medvezhiy Vodopad.
