Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from downtown Frankfort, head west on Main Street towards the intersection with High Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with US-127. Turn left onto US-127 South and walk for about 0.3 miles. Look for the Buffalo Trace Distillery signs on your right. The distillery is located at 113 Great Buffalo Trce, just a short walk from US-127.

• Public Transport

  From downtown Frankfort, take the Bluegrass Transit bus route that stops at various locations including the Capital Plaza Tower. Inquire with the driver about the nearest stop to Buffalo Trace Distillery, which is typically the stop at US-127. Once you disembark, walk approximately 0.2 miles south along US-127 until you reach Great Buffalo Trace. Turn right and continue down Great Buffalo Trace until you arrive at the distillery, which will be on your left.

• Biking

  If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local vendor downtown. Head west on Main Street and take the bike path that runs along the Kentucky River. Follow the path until you reach the intersection with US-127. Turn left onto US-127 and ride for about 0.3 miles. Look for signs indicating Buffalo Trace Distillery. You will arrive at the distillery at 113 Great Buffalo Trce on your right.
