If you are starting from Downtown Frankfort, head towards Main Street. Walk along Main Street heading east until you reach the intersection with Capital Avenue. Turn left onto Capital Avenue, and continue walking for about two blocks. The Kentucky State Capitol Museum will be on your right at 100 Capital Ave.
Public Transit (Bus)
Check the local bus schedule for routes that service Main Street in Frankfort. Board a bus that heads towards the Capitol area. Get off at the nearest stop to Capital Avenue. From there, walk towards Capital Avenue and head east for about two blocks. The Kentucky State Capitol Museum will be on your right.
Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle, start from the Frankfort bike path. Follow the path towards the city center, and make your way to Main Street.
