    If you are in downtown Frankfort, start at the corner of Main Street and Capital Avenue. Head east on Main Street for three blocks until you reach the intersection with High Street. Turn left onto High Street and continue walking for about half a mile. You will pass by the Kentucky State Capitol on your right. After you cross the intersection with 2nd Street, look for a bus stop at the corner of High Street and 2nd Street; this is where you can catch the bus if you prefer not to walk further. If you continue walking straight on High Street, it will become US-60 W. After approximately another mile, you will see a sign for the Salato Wildlife Education Center on your right. Turn into the entrance at 1 Sportsman's Ln, Frankfort, KY 40601.
