Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Keeneland area, start at the main entrance of the Keeneland Race Course. Head southeast on Paris Pike (US-27) for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Newtown Pike. At this intersection, turn right onto Newtown Pike and continue for approximately 1 mile. When you reach the intersection with W. 7th Street, turn left. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach Rebmann Lane. Turn right onto Rebmann Lane, and McConnell Springs Park will be on your left at 416 Rebmann Ln, Lexington, KY 40504. The total walking distance is about 1.8 miles and should take around 35-40 minutes.

  • Public Transport (Lextran Bus)

    From Keeneland, walk to the nearest Lextran bus stop located at the Keeneland Race Course. Board the Lextran bus Route 12 (Newtown) heading towards downtown Lexington. Stay on the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach the stop at Newtown Pike and W. 7th Street. From there, disembark and walk south on Newtown Pike for about 0.3 miles until you reach Rebmann Lane. Turn left onto Rebmann Lane, and McConnell Springs Park will be on your left. The bus fare is $1.00, and you can purchase your ticket from the driver.
