Start at the Lexington Transit Center located at 215 E Main St. Take the Blue Line bus towards 'Hamburg Pavilion.' Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop for 'Tates Creek & Richmond Rd.' From there, transfer to the Route 14 bus heading towards 'Tates Creek.' Ride for another 10 minutes until you reach 'Raven Run Nature Sanctuary,' located at 3885 Raven Run Way. The sanctuary is a short walk from the bus stop.

Begin your ride from downtown Lexington. Head south on South Limestone St. Continue straight as it becomes Tates Creek Rd. Follow Tates Creek Rd for about 3 miles. Turn left onto Raven Run Way, and follow it until you arrive at Raven Run Nature Sanctuary. The total distance is approximately 5 miles, and the route is primarily on bike lanes and less trafficked roads.

If you are staying in the vicinity of downtown Lexington, walk south on N Broadway. Continue straight as it turns into Tates Creek Rd. Keep walking for about 2.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Raven Run Way. Turn left onto Raven Run Way and walk about half a mile until you arrive at Raven Run Nature Sanctuary. The total walking distance is approximately 3 miles, and it should take around 1 hour.
