If you are traveling by car from Northern Kentucky, take I-75 South towards Lexington. Continue on I-75 South until you reach the exit for I-64 East. Merge onto I-64 East and follow it until you reach the exit for US-23 South. Take US-23 South, which will lead you towards Big Stone Gap, Virginia. Continue on US-23 until you reach the junction with US-58. Take US-58 East, and follow the signs towards Big Stone Gap. Once in Big Stone Gap, turn left onto W 1st St N, and the Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park will be located on your right at 10 W 1st St N.
