If you're traveling by car, start by getting onto I-71 N/I-75 N from your current location in Northern Kentucky. Follow the signs for I-71 N toward Cincinnati. After approximately 10 miles, take exit 1A to merge onto I-65 S toward Louisville. Continue on I-65 S for about 80 miles. Take exit 133 for I-264 W toward TARC/Frankfort. After about 4 miles, take exit 22 for US-42 S toward New Albany. Continue on US-42 S for approximately 3 miles, and then turn right onto Rockcreek Lexington Road. Continue for another mile, and you will see the Spring Fort Station Historical Marker on your left.

If you prefer to use public transportation, you can start by taking a bus from downtown Cincinnati or Northern Kentucky to Louisville. Check the TARC (Transit Authority of River City) schedule for the most convenient route. Once in Louisville, you can take bus route 18 (Bardstown Road) and disembark at the nearest stop to Rockcreek Lexington Road. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile along Rockcreek Lexington Road to reach the Spring Fort Station Historical Marker. Note that fares for TARC buses are approximately $1.75 per ride.
