From Central Highlands, take the A104 road heading northwest towards Nakuru. After approximately 90 kilometers, you will reach Nakuru town. Once in Nakuru, follow the signs to the Baringo Road (C45). Continue on the C45 for about 50 kilometers until you reach the junction for Lake Baringo. Turn left at the junction and follow the road for another 10 kilometers directly to the lake. Ensure you have enough fuel before starting, as there are limited petrol stations along the way. The total driving distance is approximately 150 kilometers, and the journey may take around 3-4 hours depending on traffic conditions.

Public Transportation
From Central Highlands, head to the nearest bus terminal and take a bus or matatu heading to Nakuru. The fare is approximately 300-500 KES depending on the bus company. Upon arrival in Nakuru, locate the matatus heading to Baringo, which can be found at the Nakuru bus station. The fare for this leg is around 200 KES. The matatu will take you to the junction for Lake Baringo, where you will need to disembark. From there, it is about a 10-kilometer walk to the lake unless you can find a local boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) for hire. Make sure to negotiate the fare for the boda-boda, which should be around 200-300 KES.
