From Central Highlands, drive towards Kitale. Use the A104 road heading northwest. Continue on this road for about 120 kilometers until you reach Kitale town. Once in Kitale, follow the signs to Saiwa Swamp National Park, which is approximately 20 kilometers from the town center. You will need to take the Kitale-Saiwa road. Look out for the park entrance on your left. Ensure to check your fuel levels as there are few gas stations on the way.

To reach Saiwa Swamp National Park from Central Highlands using public transport, take a matatu (shared taxi) or bus from your location to Kitale. The journey may take several hours depending on traffic. Once in Kitale, you can hire a taxi or take a local matatu heading towards Saiwa Swamp. The distance from Kitale to the park is about 20 kilometers, and the fare for the taxi should be negotiated beforehand. Expect to pay around 500-1000 KES for the taxi ride.
