    From the main road in Chyulu Hills, head towards the town of Machakos. After approximately 30 kilometers, look for the signs directing you to Ol Donyo Sabuk National Park. The turn-off will be clearly marked. Once on the access road, continue for about 15 kilometers. Be advised that the road may be unpaved and bumpy, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended. As you approach the park entrance, you will see a gate where you will need to pay an entrance fee, typically around 500 KES for residents and higher for non-residents. After entering the park, follow the signs leading to the Ol Donyo Sabuk peak. Parking is available near the trailhead.

    First, take a matatu (shared minibus) from Chyulu Hills to Machakos. The fare is usually around 200-300 KES. Once you arrive in Machakos, you will need to take another matatu heading towards the Ol Donyo Sabuk area.
