Car
If you are driving to Kisula Caves from the main road in Chyulu Hills, head towards Maikuu. From the junction on the main road, take the route towards FVC3+H9J. Follow the signs for the Kisula Caves, which are approximately 15 kilometers from the main road. The final stretch involves a dirt road, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for such terrain. Parking is available near the entrance of the caves.
Public Transportation
To reach Kisula Caves using public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) from the nearest town to Chyulu Hills towards Maikuu. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at the Kisula Caves stop. Once you arrive in Maikuu, you may need to walk approximately 4 kilometers to reach the caves, or you can hire a local boda boda (motorcycle taxi) for a small fee, usually around 300-500 KES depending on the distance and negotiation.
Walking
If you are already within walking distance in the Chyulu Hills area, and the weather permits, you can hike towards the Kisula Caves from your location. Make sure to have a good map or GPS device, as the area may not have clear trails. The walk can take approximately 1-2 hours depending on your starting point.
