From Chyulu Hills, head north on the A109 highway towards Nanyuki. The drive takes approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. As you approach Nanyuki, look for signs directing you to Mount Kenya National Park. Once you reach Nanyuki, you can find car rental services if you prefer to hire a vehicle for the journey. Follow the signs to the Mount Kenya Park entrance located at Nanyuki Gate.

To reach Mount Kenya from Chyulu Hills using public transport, you’ll first need to find a matatu (shared taxi) to Nanyuki. Matatus are available at various points in Chyulu Hills, and the fare generally ranges from 300 to 500 KES.
