From Elgeyo Escarpment, drive towards Kabarnet town. You will take the A1 highway (also known as the Nakuru-Kisumu road) heading north. After approximately 50 kilometers, look for a sign directing you to Lake Baringo. Turn right onto the Baringo road and continue for about 15 kilometers. The road is relatively good, but be cautious of potholes. Once you arrive at Lake Baringo, follow the access roads to find parking near the lake shore.

Public Transportation
To get to Lake Baringo via public transport, first, you need to take a matatu (shared taxi) from Elgeyo Escarpment to Kabarnet town. The fare is approximately 150 KES and the journey takes around 1.5 hours. Upon reaching Kabarnet, look for another matatu heading to Lake Baringo. The fare for this leg is about 100 KES, and it will take approximately 30-45 minutes to reach the lake. Be sure to confirm the drop-off point is near the lake.
