Car
If you're driving from Moshi, head north on A23 towards Same District. After about 80 kilometers, you will reach a junction. Take the B1 road towards Gonja. Continue on the B1 for approximately 15 kilometers until you see signs for Mk. The plant nursery is located just off the main road in Gonja. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as gas stations can be sparse in this area.
Public Transportation
From Moshi, you can catch a bus heading to Same. These buses leave from the Moshi bus station. The journey typically takes about 2 hours, depending on road conditions. Once you arrive at Same, you will need to find a local taxi or a 'boda-boda' (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Gonja. This ride should take around 30 minutes. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 10,000-15,000 TZS.

If you are already in Same, you can hire a taxi directly to Mk in Gonja. This option is more comfortable and direct. The taxi ride should take around 30 minutes, and the fare is usually about 20,000 TZS. Be sure to confirm the price before starting your journey.
Boda-Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
For a more adventurous option, you can take a boda-boda from Same to Mk in Gonja. This is a popular mode of transport for locals. The fare for this ride is around 5,000-10,000 TZS, and it will take approximately 30 minutes. Always wear a helmet for safety and negotiate the fare in advance.
