    From Malindi town center, head north on the Malindi-Watamu road (also known as the Mombasa-Malindi highway). Walk towards the direction of Watamu, which is approximately 12 kilometers away. As you walk, you'll pass various shops and local eateries. Look for the signs along the road indicating Watamu. After walking for about 2 kilometers, you will come across the turnoff to Gede. Continue on this road, and you will find the Gede Museum on your left.

    If you prefer to ride a bicycle, rent one from a local shop in Malindi. Start by cycling north towards the Malindi-Watamu road. The ride is approximately 12 kilometers. Stay on the main road, and look for the signs that lead to Watamu. About 2 kilometers from Malindi, you will see the turnoff for Gede. Turn left and continue cycling until you reach the Gede Museum on your left side.

    Find a matatu (shared minibus) heading to Watamu from Malindi town. You can catch one at the main matatu stage in Malindi. Inform the driver or conductor that you want to get off at Gede. The fare is usually very affordable. After approximately 20-30 minutes, you will arrive at the Gede turnoff. Get off here and walk a short distance down the road to reach the Gede Museum.
