Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the Mount Elgon National Park headquarters located in Suam. From there, take the main road heading towards the north side of the park. Follow the signs for the hiking trails, and continue until you reach the junction at 1.0984 latitude and 34.5745 longitude. Turn left at the fork, and continue down the dirt road for approximately 10 kilometers until you see signs for Sudek. The area offers limited parking, so be prepared to park along the roadside if the designated area is full.

Public Transportation
To reach Sudek via public transportation, first make your way to the nearest town, which is Kitale. From Kitale, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Suam. Ask the driver to drop you off near the Mount Elgon National Park entrance. From the entrance, you will need to hire a local boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Sudek since public transport does not directly service this area. The boda-boda ride will take about 30-45 minutes and will cost around 500 to 1000 Kenyan Shillings, depending on negotiation and demand.
