Turn left onto the dirt road leading to the marker. The marker is located at coordinates -0.0002848, 37.0702782. There is no entry fee to visit the marker, but ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as the nearest fuel station is back in Nanyuki.
Public Transportation
To reach the Equator Marker using public transportation, first take a matatu (shared taxi) from Nanyuki town heading towards Nairobi. Inform the driver that you want to stop at the Equator Marker, and they will drop you off close to the location. The fare is usually around 50-100 KES. From the drop-off point, walk approximately 500 meters to reach the marker, following the signs.
Bicycle
