• Car

  If you're starting from Nanyuki, head northwest on the A2 highway. After approximately 45 kilometers, take the exit towards Timau. Continue on the Timau road for about 15 kilometers until you reach Lewa. From Lewa, follow the signs leading to the Ngare Ndare Forest Ecotourism Entrance, which is roughly 10 kilometers away. The entrance is located at coordinates 0.1698517 latitude and 37.3046703 longitude. Ensure that your vehicle is suitable for rural roads, as some sections may be unpaved.

• Public Transportation

  To get to Ngare Ndare from Nanyuki using public transport, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Nanyuki to Timau. The fare is typically around 100-150 Kenyan Shillings. Once you arrive in Timau, you can hire a taxi to take you the remaining 10 kilometers to the Ngare Ndare Forest Ecotourism Entrance.
