Car
If you're driving from the Mount Kenya region, head towards the town of Thika. From Thika, take the A2 road towards Nairobi. After approximately 25 kilometers, take the exit towards Garissa and merge onto the A3 road. Continue on the A3 for about 15 kilometers until you reach the junction for Ol Donyo Sabuk National Park. Follow the signs to the park entrance. Note that there is an entrance fee for the park, which is approximately KES 500 for adults and KES 300 for children.
Public Transportation
To reach Ol Donyo Sabuk by public transport, take a matatu (shared taxi) from any major town in the Mount Kenya region to Thika. Once in Thika, transfer to another matatu heading towards Garissa and ask the driver to drop you off at the junction for Ol Donyo Sabuk National Park. From there, you may need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you the remaining distance to the park entrance. Be prepared for transportation costs, which may vary, but typically expect to pay around KES 200-300 for the ride.
