Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Nanyuki town, head east on the A2 road towards Nyeri. After about 9 kilometers, turn left onto Marura Road. Continue for approximately 13 kilometers, and you will find the entrance to Ol Pejeta Conservancy on your right. Be sure to keep an eye out for the signs. Note that the conservancy is about a 30-minute drive from Nanyuki.

Public Transport
From Nanyuki town, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Rumuruti. Inform the driver that you want to alight at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy entrance. The ride should take around 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the entrance, you may need to arrange for a vehicle to take you inside the conservancy, as it is a large area and walking may not be feasible.

Taxi
You can also hire a taxi from Nanyuki town directly to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. This option is more expensive but offers the convenience of door-to-door service. The fare typically ranges from 2,500 to 3,500 KES (Kenyan Shillings) depending on your negotiation skills and the taxi company. The journey will take about 30 minutes.
