Car
If you are driving from the Mount Kenya Region, head towards Nanyuki and take the A2 road towards Nairobi. Continue on A2 for approximately 140 km until you reach the outskirts of Nairobi. Follow the signs to the city center and then take the exit towards Waiyaki Way (A104). After about 10 km, take a left turn onto State House Road. Continue for about 1 km until you see Kilimani Arboretum Road on your right. The Nairobi Arboretum will be on your left. Please note that the entrance fee is 65 Kenyan Shillings for adults and 27 Shillings for children.

Public Transportation
To reach The Nairobi Arboretum from the Mount Kenya Region via public transport, first take a matatu (shared taxi) or bus from your location to Nairobi. You can find these at various bus terminals in towns such as Nanyuki or Nyeri. The journey to Nairobi will take approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Nairobi CBD (Central Business District), you can take a matatu heading to Kilimani or a taxi. Ask to be dropped off at the junction of State House Road and Kilimani Arboretum Road. From there, it is a short walk to The Nairobi Arboretum. Remember to bring cash for the entrance fee, which is 65 Kenyan Shillings for adults and 27 Shillings for children.
