Matatus
From the central Nairobi area, head to the Kencom bus station. Here, look for a matatu that is headed to Ngong. Matatus heading to Ngong are numbered 111 or 112. Board the matatu, and pay the fare (approximately 50-100 KES). The journey will take around 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the conductor to drop you at Ngong Town.

Walking
Once you arrive in Ngong Town, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, walk towards the Ngong Hills, which is approximately 7 kilometers away. You can ask locals for directions to the entrance of the Ngong Hills park, or use a GPS-enabled map app for guidance. The walk will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, and it's a pleasant route with beautiful scenery.

Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
Instead of walking from Ngong Town, you can opt for a boda boda to take you to the Ngong Hills. At the bus stop, you will find several boda boda riders. Negotiate the fare (usually around 200-400 KES depending on your destination) and tell the rider to take you to Ngong Hills 6th Hill. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes.

Hiking
If you are feeling adventurous, you can also hike from Ngong Town to Ngong Hills 6th Hill. Follow the well-marked trails leading up to the hills. The hike will take approximately 2-3 hours, depending on your fitness level. Ensure you have adequate water and snacks for the journey.
