Getting There

Matatu
From Nairobi, head to the Kencom Bus Station. Look for Matatus heading to Ngong. The fare is approximately 100 KES. Once you board, enjoy the ride which will take about 30-45 minutes. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the Ngong Town stage.

Walking
Once you arrive at Ngong Town, exit the Matatu stage and walk towards the main road (Ngong Road). From here, you can either take a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) or walk approximately 7 km to the Ngong Hills Forest Reserve entrance. The hike will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow signs to Ngong Hills, and you will see the entrance on your left.

At Ngong Town, you can hire a boda-boda to take you directly to the Ngong Hills Forest Reserve. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 200-300 KES. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes.
