From Naivasha town, head to the main matatu stage located near the Naivasha bus terminal. Look for a matatu heading to Nyahururu or Nanyuki. Make sure to ask the driver if they can drop you off at the turn-off for Aberdare National Park. The fare is usually around 100-200 Kenyan Shillings. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

Motorbike Taxi (Boda Boda)
Once you reach the turn-off for Aberdare National Park, you can hire a boda boda from the roadside. Negotiate the fare, which should be around 300-500 Kenyan Shillings depending on your destination within the park. The boda boda ride will take around 30 minutes to reach the park gate.

Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and prefer to walk, after getting off the matatu at the turn-off, you can walk towards Aberdare National Park. It is about 8 kilometers from the road to the park gate. This route will take you through local communities and scenic landscapes, but make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry enough water.
