Walking
If you are in the Nakuru town center, head southeast on Kenyatta Avenue towards Moi Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Nairobi Road. Turn left onto Nairobi Road and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Lake Nakuru National Park. After passing by the Nakuru County Referral Hospital on your left, continue straight until you reach the entrance of Lake Nakuru National Park where the offices are located.
Bicycle
From Nakuru town center, rent a bicycle from a nearby rental shop. Start your journey by cycling south on Kenyatta Avenue. Turn left onto Nairobi Road and continue cycling for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Watch for traffic and follow the signs to Lake Nakuru National Park. Once you pass the Nakuru County Referral Hospital, keep going straight until you arrive at the park offices.
Public Transport (Matatu)
From the Nakuru town center, locate the matatu stage near the bus station. Board a matatu heading towards Lake Nakuru or the nearby area. Inform the driver or conductor that you are heading to Lake Nakuru National Park Offices. The journey should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach the entrance of Lake Nakuru National Park, disembark, and the offices will be a short walk from the drop-off point.
