If you are driving from Kisumu, take the A1 road heading towards the town of Kisii. After approximately 60 kilometers, turn left onto the road towards Brooke Center, following the signs. Continue straight for about 12 kilometers until you reach the intersection at M88V+QX4. Chagaik Arboretum is located just off this road, and there is parking available nearby.

Public Transportation

To reach Chagaik Arboretum using public transport, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Kisumu to Kisii. The journey will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Kisii, take another matatu heading towards Brooke Center. Inform the driver you wish to stop at M88V+QX4. This last leg will take approximately 30 minutes. After disembarking, the arboretum is a short walk from the drop-off point.
