Car
If you are driving from Kisumu city center, head southwest on Oginga Odinga Road towards the Kisumu - Kakamega Road (A1). Continue on A1 for approximately 4 kilometers. Once you reach the junction with the Kisumu - Ahero Road, take a left turn. After about 1 kilometer, you will see a sign for Dunga Hill Camp. Follow the road signs for another 2 kilometers, and you will arrive at Dunga Hill Camp. There is ample parking available at the camp.
Public Transportation
To reach Dunga Hill Camp using public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Kisumu city center heading to Dunga area. These matatus are usually available at the main bus station near the central market. The fare is approximately 50-100 KES depending on the distance. Inform the driver that you are going to Dunga Hill Camp, and they will drop you off at the nearest stop. From there, it is a short walk of about 1 kilometer to the camp. Look for signs directing you to Dunga Hill Camp along the way.
Bicycle or Walking
For those who enjoy biking or walking, you can cycle or walk from Kisumu city center. The distance is about 5 kilometers. Follow the route used by cars; it is relatively flat and safe.
