Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Kisumu, take the Kisumu-Bondo road (A1). After about 25 kilometers, look for signs directing you toward Kit-Mikayi. Turn onto the road leading to Kit-Mikayi. Continue for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Kit-Mikayi. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition as some parts of the road may be rough.

  • Public Transportation

    From Kisumu city, head to the bus terminal and take a matatu (shared minibus) heading to Bondo. The fare is approximately 100-150 KES. Inform the driver that you are going to Kit-Mikayi, and they will drop you off at the nearest junction. From the junction, you can take a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) for about 50-100 KES to reach Kit-Mikayi.
