Continue straight for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction near the Kalama Community Conservancy sign. Turn left at the sign and follow the road for another 5 kilometers, which will lead you directly to the conservancy entrance. Make sure to have your entrance fees ready, as they may be required.

For those using public transportation, your best option is to take a matatus (shared taxis) from the nearest town, which is Nanyuki. From Nanyuki, board a matatu heading to Isiolo. Inform the driver that you wish to stop at Shaba National Reserve. Once you arrive at the reserve, you can hire a local guide or a private vehicle to take you to Kalama Community Conservancy, which is about a 30-minute drive from the reserve entrance. Expect to pay around 1000-1500 Kenyan Shillings for this additional transport.
