From the main entrance of Shaba National Reserve, head south on the main road for approximately 30 km. You will pass through the scenic landscapes of the reserve. Continue until you reach the junction at Archer's Post. Turn left at the junction and proceed for another 25 km. You will see signs directing you to Buffalo Springs National Reserve. The entrance will be on your right.

From the main gate of Shaba National Reserve, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Archer's Post. The fare is approximately 200 KES. Once you reach Archer's Post, you will need to find a matatu heading to Buffalo Springs National Reserve. The fare for this leg of the journey is around 150 KES. Be sure to confirm with the driver that they are headed to Buffalo Springs before boarding.
