After approximately 40 kilometers, look for signs indicating the turnoff to Kasemeni/Sinango Road. This will lead you directly to the entrance of Shimba Hills National Reserve. The reserve is located about 15 kilometers from the main road on Kasemeni Sinango Road. Ensure you have cash for the park entrance fee, which is approximately 1,000 Kenyan Shillings for non-residents.

    For those using public transport, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Mombasa to Kwale. The journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you reach Kwale, you will need to find another matatu heading towards Shimba Hills.
