Getting There

Hiking
Start your journey from the center of Karakol. Head towards Tsentral'naya Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Erkindik Street. Turn left onto Erkindik Street and follow it until you reach the Zhety Oguz resort area. From there, you will see signs indicating the trail to Kok Jaiyk Valley. The hike to the valley takes approximately 2-3 hours, depending on your pace. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks for the hike.

Public Transport to Zhety Oguz
From the main bus station in Karakol, take a marshrutka (minibus) heading to Zhety Oguz. The fare is usually around 20-30 som. Once you arrive at the Zhety Oguz resort, follow the signs to the Kok Jaiyk Valley trailhead. The hike from the resort to the valley will take around 2 hours.
