If you're driving from Phakse, head north on Route 13 (also known as the National Road 13) towards Ban Konglô. After approximately 25 km, turn left onto an unpaved road towards the sign for Tad Katamtok. Continue on this road for about 5 km until you reach the parking area near the waterfall. Be mindful that the road can be rough, so a 4WD is recommended.

To reach Tad Katamtok via public transportation, first take a local bus or tuk-tuk from Phakse to Ban Konglô. The journey should take about 30-45 minutes and costs around 10,000 LAK. Once in Ban Konglô, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you directly to the waterfall. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 20,000 LAK for a round trip. Make sure to agree on a pick-up time for your return journey.
