From Thakhek, take Route 12 heading north for approximately 80 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for Khammouane Limestone Forest. Follow the signs for National Park. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will see a turnoff towards the Limestone Forest area. Follow this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the parking area for the viewpoint.
