    From Chiang Rai, take a Green Bus mini van from Bus Terminal 1 to Chiang Saen. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. From Chiang Saen, take a songthaew (local pickup truck taxi) to the Golden Triangle, which is about 9km north. The songthaew ride costs around 10 baht.

    From Chiang Rai city, a taxi to the Golden Triangle costs approximately 800 THB and takes about 1-2 hours. Taxis can be arranged through your hotel or at the Chiang Rai airport.
