Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Thakhek. Head north on Route 13 for about 25 km until you reach the town of Nakay Neua. Look for the signs indicating the viewpoint, which is located at coordinates 17.7534308, 105.0911818. Once you reach Nakay Neua, take a left turn onto a smaller road leading to the viewpoint. There may be some signage to guide you further. The road may be unpaved and could require a 4WD vehicle depending on weather conditions.

To reach the viewpoint using public transportation, take a bus from Thakhek to Nakay Neua. The buses leave regularly from the Thakhek bus station and the journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once in Nakay Neua, you will need to hire a tuk-tuk or a local taxi to take you to the viewpoint, which is about 5 km from the town center. Be sure to negotiate the fare beforehand. Expect to pay around 20,000 to 30,000 LAK for the tuk-tuk ride.

If you prefer to walk from Nakay Neua after taking the bus, it's about a 1-hour walk (approximately 5 km) to the viewpoint. Head northwest out of the town, following the path towards the coordinates 17.7534308, 105.0911818. The path may not be well-marked, so it's advisable to ask locals for directions along the way.
