Getting There

    If you are driving from Luang Prabang, take Route 13 south from the city center. After approximately 20 kilometers, you will see signs for Lao Nationality Park. Turn left onto Route 466 (V466+P4Q), and follow the road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the entrance of the park. Be prepared for some unpaved sections of the road, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Lao Nationality Park using public transportation, first head to the main bus station in Luang Prabang. Look for a minivan heading towards Kasi or Vang Vieng. The journey will take about 1-1.5 hours. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the junction for Lao Nationality Park, which is approximately 20 kilometers south of Luang Prabang. After getting off, you can hire a local tuk-tuk or walk about 10 kilometers to the park entrance.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    If you prefer a more direct route after arriving at the junction from Luang Prabang, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Lao Nationality Park. The price should be negotiated in advance; expect to pay around 100,000 to 150,000 LAK for a one-way trip. The tuk-tuk ride will take about 20 minutes.
