If you're driving to Tat Sae Waterfalls, start from Luang Prabang city center. Head southeast on Kounxoau Road, then turn right onto Route 13. After approximately 10 kilometers, take the exit onto Route 1C towards Xieng Ngeun. Continue on this road for about 20 kilometers until you see signs for Tat Sae Waterfalls. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the entrance to the waterfalls. There is parking available nearby.

To reach Tat Sae Waterfalls via public transportation, first, make your way to the Luang Prabang bus station. Look for a shared taxi or songthaew (red pickup truck) that is heading towards the waterfalls. The fare is usually around 20,000 LAK (Lao Kip) per person. The ride should take about 30-45 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to go to Tat Sae Waterfalls, and they will drop you off at the entrance.
