Tuk-Tuk
From your location in Pakse, find a nearby tuk-tuk stand or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. Once you get a tuk-tuk, inform the driver that you want to go to Tad Lo, which is approximately 40 kilometers from Pakse. The ride will take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Enjoy the scenic views along the Bolaven Plateau. The driver should know to take the main road (Route 13) towards Tad Lo.

Head to the Pakse bus station located near the center of the city. Look for buses heading towards Tad Lo or the Bolaven Plateau. Buses typically leave every hour or so. The bus ride will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to tell the conductor or driver your destination so they can assist you. Get off at the Tad Lo stop, where you can find signs for Fandee Island.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to explore at your own pace, consider renting a motorbike. Many rental shops are available in Pakse. After renting the bike, head towards Route 13 and follow the signs to Tad Lo. The journey will take around 1 to 1.5 hours.
