Car
If you are traveling by car from Sainyabuli Province, start by heading southeast on Route 4 towards Vientiane. The drive is approximately 150 km and will take around 2.5 to 3 hours depending on traffic conditions. Once you reach Vientiane, follow signs for Route 13 (Thadeua Road) towards Xaysettha District. Continue for about 5 km until you see signs for Pha That Luang. Turn left onto That Luang Street, and you will find Pha That Luang on your right side.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Pha That Luang from Sainyabuli Province using public transportation, first, take a local bus from Sainyabuli to Vientiane. Buses run regularly and the fare is approximately 30,000 LAK. The journey takes about 3-4 hours. Once in Vientiane, head to the main bus station (Talat Sao) and locate a tuk-tuk or a local bus heading towards Pha That Luang. It should cost around 10,000 to 20,000 LAK for the ride. Inform the driver of your destination so they can drop you off nearby.

If you prefer a more direct route, after arriving in Vientiane, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you directly to Pha That Luang. This option is more expensive, running between 50,000 to 100,000 LAK depending on negotiation. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes from the city center.
