    Getting There

    Walking

    From Vang Vieng town center, cross the Nam Song River via the toll bridge. The toll is 4,000 KIP per person. After crossing the bridge, turn onto the main road heading west for approximately 3 kilometers. Follow the signs for Pha Ngern View Point. The trailhead will be on your left, marked by a sign. From the parking area, it's a 45-minute to 3-hour hike to the top. Remember to bring water and wear appropriate footwear.

    Motorbike/E-bike

    Rent a motorbike or e-bike in Vang Vieng. Cross the Nam Song River via the toll bridge, which costs 6,000 KIP for a bicycle. Follow the main road west for approximately 3 kilometers. Look for the sign indicating the turnoff to Pha Ngern View Point on the left. Park your bike at the designated parking area near the trailhead. From there, hike to the viewpoint. Motorbike rentals typically cost around 150,000 KIP per day.

    Tuk-tuk

    Hire a tuk-tuk from Vang Vieng town center. Negotiate a fare to Pha Ngern View Point. The tuk-tuk will take you to the trailhead. From there, begin the hike to the viewpoint. A tuk-tuk for the whole day will cost around 600,000 KIP.
