From Vang Vieng, the most common way to reach Blue Lagoon 1 is by motorbike or tuk-tuk. Head southwest from the town center, following the signs for Blue Lagoon 1. The journey is approximately 7.5 kilometers and takes about 20-30 minutes. Be prepared for unpaved roads. A round-trip tuk-tuk may cost between 40,000-60,000 LAK per person, but negotiate the price beforehand. Motorbike rentals are available in Vang Vieng for around 2-3 USD a day. Note that there may be a toll to cross the Namsong Bridge, around 10,000 kip.

For a more budget-friendly and eco-conscious option, rent a bicycle in Vang Vieng. The ride to Blue Lagoon 1 is about 7.5 kilometers. Follow the same route as for motorbikes and tuk-tuks, heading southwest from the town center. Be aware that the roads can be bumpy, and the journey may take longer. Bicycle rentals typically cost around 2-3 USD per day. Expect to pay around 10,000 kip for the Namsong Bridge toll.
