Walking
If you are starting from the Patuxai Monument, walk south along Avenue Lane Xang for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and cafes on your left. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue Setthathirath. Turn left onto Rue Setthathirath and walk for about 500 meters. Wat Sisaket will be on your right, just before the intersection with Rue Chao Anouvong.

From your accommodation in Vientiane, ask a tuk-tuk driver to take you to Wat Sisaket. Most drivers will know this popular tourist attraction. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure you agree on a fare before starting your journey, typically around 20,000 to 30,000 LAK.

Take bus number 14 from the main bus station in Vientiane. The bus will take you towards the center of the city. Get off at the stop near Patuxai Monument. From there, it is a short walk south along Avenue Lane Xang for about 1.5 kilometers, then turn left onto Rue Setthathirath. Wat Sisaket is about 500 meters down this road on your right.
