Walking
From the center of Xieng Khouang, head southeast on the main road (Route 7). Walk towards the area known as Ban Lao. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, keep an eye out for a sign that mentions 'Public Hot Spring'. There should be a small path leading off the main road. Follow this path for about 500 meters, and you will arrive at the hot spring.

Starting from the main market in Xieng Khouang, rent a bicycle and head southeast on Route 7. Continue cycling for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the signs for Ban Lao. Look for a dirt path on your right that indicates the Public Hot Spring. Cycle down this path for roughly 500 meters, and you will find the hot spring.

Tuk-tuk
Find a tuk-tuk stand near the central market in Xieng Khouang. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Public Hot Spring' in Ban Lao. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes. The tuk-tuk will drop you off at the main road near the hot spring path. From there, walk about 500 meters down the dirt path to reach the hot spring.
